If a camera can track the position of your retinas with enough precision, it's even possible to project a separate display directly onto each eye. When seated at a desk, a high resolution projector could use only a few lumens focused directly into your eyes, instead of a fixed screen using polarized glasses, active-shutters or any other headgear.

This also means that each viewer could see a unique viewpoint, eliminating the need for splitscreens or multiple displays.
