The main goal of the conference is to strengthen the dialogue between these two communities. Topics covered will focus on uses of cryptography in real-world environments such as the Internet, the cloud, and embedded devices. The venue has a capacity for 450 participants. We are now full and registration is closed. VenueThe 2016 RWC workshop will be held at Stanford University on January 6-8, 2016. The conference venue is the Arrillaga Alumni Center located at 326 Galvez Street, Stanford, CA 94305Please see the Stanford Lodging Guide for a list of nearby hotels.
Tourism and Travel adviceThe closest airport is San Jose airport (SJC, 16 miles) followed by San Francisco airport (SFO, 22 miles) and Oakland airport (OAK, 29 miles). There are several shuttle services from SFO and SJC to the Stanford campus.RWC 2016 attendees are advised to take the same personal safety precautions that they would when traveling.
Depending on your nationality and status, you may require a visa to enter the USA. If you require a letter of invitation in connection with a visa application, please first register for the workshop and then contact Ruth Harris, stating your full name, affiliation, gender and salutation (Mr./Mrs./Miss/Ms./Dr./Prof.), and including a copy of your workshop registration receipt as an attachment. We will not be able to provide letters of invitation unless you have already registered for the event.
Requests should be made by November 1, 2015. Initial support
decisions will be made by November 15, 2015. Requests can be made
after November 1, but they will not be considered until after the
initial support decisions are made. All requests must be accompanied by a short email from an advisor or
supervisor that supports and justifies the request.

Call for contributed talksThe steering committee is looking for submissions to be considered for presentation at the workshop. The deadline for full consideration is November 1st, 2015. To submit a position paper please visit the submission site. Submission instructions: paper submissions can be full 10 page papers, short two page abstracts, or presentation slides. Please make sure that the submission provides sufficient detail to explain what the talk will be about.
