[resolved] autofocus - Remove metadata from post (5 posts)

How can i remove the metadata (shown below) from my posts. I want to use this theme for a small business website and not a blog so the metadata info is not required.
Example of metadata:
09 Nov This entry was written by admin, posted on November 9, 2010 at 6:30 pm, filed under Uncategorized. Bookmark the permalink. Follow any comments here with the RSS feed for this post. Post a comment or leave a trackback: Trackback URL. View EXIF Data

well, that was simple. Just add the following at the end of the style.css file:
.entry-meta { display: none; }

I tried that but for some reason is not working ....

Am I missing the obvious again?
