A terminally ill Star Wars fan, whose last wish to see the newest film in the saga was granted last week, died on Tuesday

LONDON — Prime Minister David Cameron says the European Union must agree to "irreversible changes" that would redefine Britain's relationship with Brussels — and limit freedom of movement by allowing the UK to restrict benefits for migrants from other member states.

Britain will hold a referendum by the end of 2017 on whether to leave the 28-nation EU. Cameron says he wants to stay in, provided he can secure greater autonomy for the U.K.

A young girl going through chemotherapy took part in a special sing-a-long of Frozen's 'Let it Go' at Glasgow's New Royal Hospital for Sick Children recently.

Millie's parents, who are currently raising money for her to get medical treatment after she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, uploaded the clip to their Facebook page on Friday.

"So this didn't quite go as I had pictured in my head but we all had fun and as always Millie is showing chemo won't bring her down!!" Reads the video's description.

The Match Group, parent company of every millennial's favorite dating app, Tinder, as well as other big name services like Match and OkCupid, revealed in a filing Monday that it plans to raise as much as $536 million in a public offering

The Rapael Smart Glove looks a lot like the Nintendo Power Glove, but it's not exactly a video game controller. It's a smart rehabilitation glove for recovering stroke patients.

Gaming was definitely a huge part of it, however. The glove, created by Korean health tech company Neofect, incorporates motion-based games to help stroke patients relearn how to use their arm and hand.

Neofect founder Ban Ho Young told Tech In Asia that everything they have now was made with collaboration between rehabilitation experts and game designers. Gaming helps to motivate patients, especially when he estimates about 85% of South Koreans don't complete their stroke rehabilitation programs. In South Korea, about 105,000 people experience a stroke every year, according to a study in the Journal of Stroke. That's compared to almost 795,000 people in the U.S., according the the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Read more...

An 800-pound alligator dubbed "Godzilla" was found wandering outside a Houston-area shopping center. He is blind in one eye and only has partial sight in the other. It is believed that he wandered there from a nearby creek. Christy Kroboth, a licensed “nuisance alligator trapper,” was brought in to subdue him. Godzilla was muzzled, restrained loaded onto a truck using a forklift that was borrowed from Home Depot. He is being taken to a gator reserve. Washington state health officials said Monday they have found no source for the E. coli outbreak related to Chipotle, and the chain's Pacific Northwest restaurants could reopen later this week.

All the tests of food from Chipotle stores in Washington and Oregon came back negative for E. coli, Washington state epidemiologist Dr. Scott Lindquist said. The first results came in last week. Chipotle did its own testing, and those results came back negative as well.

The Chipotle restaurants in Washington and Oregon will be allowed to reopen after they have met some conditions. They must get rid of and replace all produce, do a deep cleaning of their stores, pass a local health inspection and start a new protocol for cleaning produce. Read more...

An Australian taxi lobby has been lashed on social media following the launch of a new campaign to combat perceptions of the industry. Taxis have been on the back foot Down Under since the arrival of ride-share service Uber, which is exceedingly popular despite its uncertain legal status in most Australian states.

CEO of the Victorian Taxi Association, David Samuel, told the Guardian Monday his association would stop going after Uber in favour of working on offering a superior service. The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has awarded a $27.8-million grant to State of Maryland for "preconstruction and planning costs for the potential development of a magnetic levitation (maglev) train between Washington, DC and Baltimore," according to a FRA press release.

Maglev trains use magnets to suspend a train above a rail system. With very low levels of friction, the trains are capable of traveling speeds in excess of 300 mph, approaching 400 mph.
