Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes
centerNet, of which CIRCA is a member, is hosting a joint meeting with the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes this June 15th. The one-day joint event, Humanities (dot) Net, will include plenary sessions by John Unsworth and Brian Cantwell Smith. CIRCA Director Geoffrey Rockwell will be chairing a session on Digital Publics.
GRAND 2011 Conference
CIRCA researchers in the Grand Games Lab are at the GRAND 2011 Conference. CIRCA members Rockwell, Stroulia, and Gouglas are part of the GRAND Networks of Centres of Excellence project studying gaming and new media design. They and graduate students funded through the grant have been presenting at the GRAND annual conference.
