Or build a higher frame. Nice addition though. Stay safe and thanks for sharing.

Well done! I particularly like the new kiln layout. I have a request: could you, someday, do a time-lapse of one of the firings so I (and the rest of us watchers) can get a feel for how long the pieces are actually in the kiln, and what (color) heat is happening at what time. Cooldown would also be useful. Lastly, it seems like the fire pit is pretty shallow given the volume of the kiln. Did you find you were spending a lot of time feeding the fire, or was that small space enough to keep the heat going while you did other stuff?

Really really great video. My hands-down favorite so far. Keep up the awesome work!

Is there a reason for the separation between the huts? I can’t tell from the videos, but they seem a bit appart.

Like I said on your video it’ll probably work better if you use a thinner spindle and lighter fan blade. Make this simple change and it should work much better. Thanks.

It’s still a great improvement over a single acting bellows that does not blow at all during half the cycle. Thanks.

The top chamber is always pushing air out while the bottom chamber intermittently fills the top chamber. As you found, the lack of a completely steady airflow doesn’t change the effectiveness of the blower really. I think it’s more important for a bellows to avoid blowback.
