Eugene Puryear is a co-founder of the Washington D.C. anti-police brutality group DCFerguson which mobilized thousands of people at the height of the national movement. A leader in the PSL, he ran a 2014 campaign for D.C. Council with the slogan “DC for the People.” He recently appeared on Democracy NOW! and is a frequent guest of Abby Martin’s TV program “Breaking the Set” on Russia Today.
