LibreOffice Templates
Templates
LibreOffice Templates offer you a way to avoid duplicating repetitive actions when creating new text documents, spreadsheets, or presentations. They also offer a way to maintain consistency of document layout and standard content, and may, for example, be used to maintain consistent branding elements when used in a work place.
LibreOffice remains committed to providing users with quality software authored under free software licenses, and, as such, our catalogue of templates are published under free software licenses.
Contributions to the catalogue are welcome.
Important note for template contributors: please be aware that the language setting on the meta data page of your project is language neutral! Otherwise the project is not visible for users with another language setting in their browser. You have to set also "language neutral" in the settings of the releases page and on the page of every release for the same reason. We encourage every developer/contributor to check the (sub-)sites of his project about the correct setting.
Please choose for the title of your template (software) project only a name with plain ascii characters (e.g. no characters with an accent or similar or special characters).
The contributor of an template release should mark every release of LibreOffice (from 3.3 up to 3.4), which is compatible with his/her release. If there is a newer version of LibreOffice published, please check if your release is compatible with it and add this LibreOffice release to the compatibility-list.
If you are looking for an Extension for your LibreOffice go to http://extensions.libreoffice.org.
There is a "how-to" for contributors that gives detailed information about the process of publishing an extension on this site: (ODT | PDF). The process described there is the same for the templates site.
If you find an issue on our site, e.g. spam, please report it to webmaster [at] documentfoundation.org with an appropriate subject and a link to the site, to which you refer.
The above mail address is not a general support address for LibreOffice or The Document Foundation. If you need support with the software, go to http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/ and look for the help channel which you prefer.
