Because people should drive what affects them most.
Closing the Loop is an in-depth exploration of how aid and philanthropy could be better with constituent feedback. In an on-going discussion, we tie together what we know (and don't know) from theoretical and empirical research.
Read more...Simply collecting feedback is not enough; closing the loop is what matters. Making regular people true co-creators in aid and philanthropy requires five steps: design, collect, analyze, dialogue, course correct. Creating buy-in among all stakeholders is crucial to completing all steps of the loop.
We have three strategic pillars - framing, convening, and mainstreaming
Underpinning our strategic pillars are principles of constant learning and collaboration. That is, the activities under each pillar inform and build upon one another in a set of internally consistent feedback loops.
We help our target audiences understand the value of incorporating feedback loops in aid and philanthropy.
We do this by curating key insights from emerging practices and conceptual models and sharing them on our blog and website.

We convene thought leaders and leading practitioners to discuss ideas and act on them collaboratively.
Convening is done through LabStorms, BackTalks, the annual summit, and collaborative experimentation.

We work with influential senior leaders in aid and philanthropy to help them adopt and mainstream feedback in their programmatic work.
Mainstreaming is done through the Feedback Labs Toolkit and MicroClinics.
Do you have a resource to feature in the Toolkit? Do you have a feedback experience to post on our blog?
